Potassium nitrate fertilizer plays a crucial role in the growth of crops like tomatoes. It serves as a source of two essential nutrients: nitrogen and potassium.

Potassium nitrate provides nitrogen in the form of nitrate, which is readily absorbed by plants. Tomatoes have a relatively high demand for nitrogen, particularly during their growth stages, to support leaf and stem development.
